Hi all! You might remember me from a few months ago when I shared my site ranking the best breakfast burritos in LA. I’ve added a few new spots (including a new crowned #1, BBAD), made a ton of improvements to the site for speed, user experience (especially mobile), and finally added editorial content! I had the pleasure of sitting down with Ethan, one of the founders of Sobuneh, who makes an incredible breakfast burrito in Santa Monica. I hope you like it!

Let me know what you think and which spot I should try next.

I’ve always felt that the best breakfast burritos start with tater tots

  3. Their burrito is really good, only complaint is that it’s a little expensive, especially when you order it for delivery

  4. They’re pretty good. I do prefer a good salsa to aioli for my breakfast burrito though.

So happy for them. They work really hard.

  6. I know I’ll get downvoted for this, but I do not get the hype around Sobuneh. It’s not a bad burrito, but it’s nothing special, especially at the price point.

Great content, you should share all your stuff to /r/burrito!

They remind me a lot of wake n late, but closer. I really enjoy their burritos – even if I have to skip my next meal.

Never tried BBAD because they use canola oil and I try to avoid eating fried foods esp seed oils (except when I want fried chicken I’m going to howlin rays)

Love breakfast burritos might be my favorite kind!!!

    Have you tried erewhons?

My favorite breakfast burrito is the steak one! also enjoy the bacon one but don’t eat much pork…

  11. It’s not a good burrito. But this is a city that loves Lucky Boy and Apple Pan, so maybe it’s me tripping.
