Brand new grill covered in hairline cracks in paint. Keep or return?
Hey all, this is my first ceramic grill. Just opened the box and the whole grill is covered in hairline cracks in the paint. Doesn’t look like there's any internally but definitely looks like crap. Should I return this or keep it?

Completely normal. Crazing in the ceramic glaze.

Keep. Or send it to me and I’ll return it for you 🙂

The more you cook the more they show up. It’s all good.

You won’t find any without this. The enamel is baked on in a kiln. This is the byproduct of that process.

And if you by chance are delivered one without this, you’ll have them after the first cook or two.

You actually can’t get one without that.

Keep it, mine was that way and hasn’t changed. I agree it is normal

Normal , mine got them after the first cook but hasn’t affected the internal ceramic. It’s called crazing and it’s 100% guaranteed and normal for ceramic grills. It doesn’t affect anything so don’t worry about it because nobody will even notice unless they look super close. If that’s the only concern then get to cooking, those burgers won’t cook themselves.

It’s normal mate. Nothing to stress about.
However the ceramic inside should be crack free.
What am I looking at?
