Downham Home and Garden Store is hosting a day of celebrations on Friday as the Christmas department is officially opened.
Both the shop and Greenhouse Restaurant will be open until 8pm for a special late-night shopping event with 15pc off festive shopping.

Celebrations will run all day, including live performances as Hillcrest Primary School kicks off the day at 11am, followed by Denver Primary School at 4pm.
The Marham Military Wives Choir will take to the stage at 7pm for those heading to the site for the evening.
The Christmas Food Department will also open on the same day, with free festive tasting sessions.
The garden centre, in Bexwell Road, will run a magical grotto at the site from November 28 to December 24, with bookings launching on Friday.

Children can meet Santa, write a letter with his elves and enjoy a hot chocolate in the Greenhouse Restaurant.
A spokeswoman for the centre said: “We’re a small, family-owned, independent garden centre.

“The family is very active within the local community, supporting local sports teams and charities throughout the year.
“Over the festive season, the garden centre and restaurant will be hosting a variety of Christmas events, from wreath-making workshops to Christmas party nights and New Year’s Eve.

“And of course, Father Christmas will be joining us again this year.
“He’ll be arriving in-store with his elves at the end of November.”
The launch event on Friday is free to attend and those hoping to meet Father Christmas later this year can book tickets from £15.95 for children.
