- Opens with immediate olive mix on the nose. Salinity and then developing into savory aged meat/dried fruit aromas. Oak and chocolate presence as well. First taste is far less intense than the nose but still beautifully balanced between savory elements and the fruit. Still very much alive at 15 years old. Finish is long with silky tannins. Just another incredible Reynvaan funktastic Syrah. If you haven’t had stuff from rocks district, you should something from there make it your next purchase. Paired with dry aged NY strip on a cast iron.

I adore Reynvaan.
Yum!! Great Rock’s district syrah!
Adore Rocks District. Still kicking myself for passing on an opportunity to buy a vineyard there.
