He used 3 utensils cause 1 he needs to do the cutting, and 2 of them he will leave on the table (the spoon and fork, easier sharing) and its not good to pick up something after leaving it on the table, usually everything that we leave on the table, we dont pick up until the costumer finishes the plate, so its better if you do what you have to do, and AFTER you put them down or you take them away. This waiter should be the type of guy that doesnt takes 10 min to bring you a soda so idk what you guys are on about. Also the salad looks good, and its probably a fancy star-dish restaurant so they really need to do something extra when it comes to any type of salad
Even if I had a billion dollars I wouldn't pay 80 bucks for this on principal.
Also this really isn't gonna be that great as a "salad". The cheese that tomato is sitting on has gotta a lot of heavy lifting to do for this dish. Yiu could add hamburger and beef stock and slice up the tomato and a cooked onion and taste – wise it'd be far better as a tomato onion and beef stew. Or food process it cheese and all with 2 tbsp of olive oil so it's still chunky and serve over fetticini as a pasta dish with parsley cracked pepper and heap a pile of fresh parmasan on top. Much better and it didn't cost what it should cost two people dinner, drink, tip & dessert.
Where's the NOT APPROVED! LOL
Also…. Did anyone else see at least one WHOLE CHERRY TOMATO INSIDE? with the calyx part of the stem still attached? Tomato in a tomato? And this is create by a chef or a crackpot? I want Gordon Ramsey to order this and pay 80 bucks for it and count the number of curse words and upsets.
nope not Italian.. it's called a Shirazi salad AKA Jerusalem salad, which is middle eastern not Italian, sticking it in a peeled tomato on top a slice of mozzarella in a pool of balsamic does not an Italian salad make.

It looks delicious but not worth 80 bucks. I can make that at home for less than 10.
