CHICKEN AND WILD RICE SOUP INGREDIENTS:
► 1 lb. thinly sliced chicken breast
► 1 tsp salt
► 1 tsp paprika
► 1 tsp garlic powder
► 1 tsp onion powder
► 1/2 tsp black pepper
► 1 tbsp butter
► 1 white onion
► 2 carrots
► 2 celery stalks
► 5 minced garlic cloves
► Salt and pepper to taste
► 3 tbsp butter
► 3 tbsp flour
► 4 cups chicken broth (I’m using low sodium)
► 2 cups heavy whipping cream
► 2 boxes long grain wild rice
With soup season just around the corner, today I’m making a creamy chicken and wild rice soup. It’s so delicious. You guys are going to love it. For this recipe, I’m using one pound of thinly sliced chicken breast. I’ll season it with the spices listed here on the screen. And make sure to get both sides. In a pot set to medium heat with some oil, I’m going to start cooking. It’s been 5 minutes. We flip and continue cooking. The chicken has been cooking for a total of 10 minutes. It’s now ready, and I’m going to take it out. In the same pot, I’m going to melt 1 tbsp of butter. Once it melts, I’m going to add one small white onion, two carrots, two celery stocks, five minced garlic cloves, and last some salt and pepper to taste. We cook for about 5 minutes. Now we’re adding 3 tablespoons of butter. Once it melts, I’ll stir in 3 tablespoons of flour. Slowly pour in four cups of low sodium chicken broth. Add half first. Give it a mix, then add the rest. Next comes the heavy whipping cream, a total of two cups. I like to add half, stir it in, and then add the rest. For the rice, I’m using two boxes, and each comes with its own seasoning packet. So, we’ll add both. Now, add in the rice. Give everything a good mix. And finally, we’ll add the chicken. We cover it up and let it cook for 20 minutes. While it cooks, make sure to occasionally open it up and stir it. It’s been 20 minutes, and our soup is now ready. This is the perfect soup for fall and very easy to make. All right, guys. And now for the moment of truth. Cheers. And there you have it. Delicious creamy chicken wild dry rice soup.

That looks great…
How can i get the recipe ?
YAAAAY!! I don’t have to buy the canned version anymore!!
Mm mm 😋
You and Claudia should do a video 😊
Let's say you have rice which is a starch and lots of industrial made seasoning powders. You have some real vegetables and 2 cups of heavy whipping cream. I think that's like a half a cup of whipping cream per serving.
This is far from healthy food.
OMG, you are absolutely wonderful because I love the soup at Panera, but I know it's going to taste so much better homemade, and you make your recipes so easy to understand, and I think you're fantastic🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉😊
So well done, easy to follow . Thank you so much .

I still have my menameniaki from 2-3years harvest.
My mom and other family go to harvest every season. Cranberry, blueberry, moose (well, that's huntin 😂), etc.
We cook ours w/o the salted down seasons. Fish, wild game, or w/ berries & naturally sweetened syrup.
Looks very yummy and filling. Kari, you don’t show it, but you do cook the flour a few minutes before adding the broth, right?
