Açaí bowl in Louisiana is the top breakfast choice? Right..

  2. Ok_Stick8615

They surveyed white girls at the mall using mini-microphones and 20 year old dudes with the “more on top” cut. It was a throw-away question between the “body count” and “have you ever” questions.

  3. VillainousFiend

I’m sure this must be worded indirectly. Maybe it’s dishes with the biggest popularity increase or a specific demographic. Either that or their polling data was just terrible or made up.

Açaí bowl in GA?? Don’t think so

  5. Cybermagetx

The fact biscuits and gravy isnt anywhere in the south proves this is fake.

  6. EmperorBozopants

This explains why there are no obese people in Ohio.

  7. NinetySixBulls

Tariffs must really be hurting the eggs and bacon market.

  8. GammaSmash

I mean, I could go for a Kolache or Spankopita at any time of day.

  9. Pupusas are big in the NYC!!!! Literally and figuratively

  10. usernameiswhocares

The fuck? I will speak for the population of Tennessee and say they misspelled “biscuits and gravy”, majorly.

  11. SparseGhostC2C

Yeah, I call bullshit. Egg sandwich didn’t make the top of ANY state?

  12. foxfrenzy

This has to literally be like ai slop, no fuckin way this is accurate in any capacity. Eggs and bacon is an American staple, and if you dont like eggs waffles and pancakes exist. Like fr wtf is pupusa

  13. Most-Structure-9116

Im North Dakotan, lefse is a dessert this chart belongs on r/mapporncirclejerk

  14. Ordinary-Air-7425

I’ve lived in Washington for most of my life and I have never had a pupusa. Not yet anyway

  15. jeepwillikers

I’ve never had any of these things. I think eggs and bacon, pancakes, waffles, donuts, cereal, bagels etc, would far surpass any of these

You know the writer of this article is some moron hipster.

  17. Swingline_Font

This study brought to you by Açaí Bowl Inc.

  18. Adorable-Strings

    Entirely, unbelievably fake.

Unless there is a disclaimer that they only polled yuppies dining at Premeire Inn’s own high end restaurant franchise.

  19. VALTIELENTINE

Does noone eat breakfast cereal or eggs and toast anymore?

  20. I live in NC and while Pupusas are shockingly easy to find here (in my small suburb alone we have at least 7 places that have them, 4 of which are strictly Pupuserias), outside of the Latino community most people here have never heard of them.

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to explain what a pupusa is to someone I know lol

  21. CutiePopIceberg

Theres no eggs, cereal, or bagels on here – bs i sez

  22. Emergency-Pain-5256

Those were the only options or more likely its just bs from some company that sells those items.

  23. I live on Long Island. BECSPK is the correct answer

  24. Villematic266

“we asked nobody and no one responded:”

  25. Headline is bullshit. These are the most searched for breakfasts, not the favorites.

  26. Ok-Caterpillar5933

I’ve not heard of the majority of this stuff and I’m fat!

  27. DNICEPHILLY2023

Lefse: Norwegian flatbread is the number one breakfast in Pennsylvania apparently. Troll or advertisement post.

  28. plaidlib

My guess was that it was based on Google search volume, and that it’s just a really poorly written article, and I was correct.

  29. Holler_Professor

85% of West Virginia have no idea what an Acaí Bowl is

    This gotta be AI nonsense.

Lefse for North Dakota is also silly but those people do like those things.

  30. Mystery13x

As a Missourian WHAT THE HELL IS A KOLACHE?

  31. Big-Al97

The source is premier inn, one of the cheapest hotel chains there is but it at least look surface level fancy and modern. Poor people who are pretending to be rich for a day is exactly what these hotels cater too and also what the type of people who eat these breakfasts so it actually makes sense.
