The absolute spiciest dish I have ever had in my life
I comfortably eat 3x Buldak, but the oni level ramen @ Kikanbo is 5 steps up from there. Literally walked out the shop trembling. Amazingly good though. What an experience!

Man I miss Kikanbo. The last time was like 10+ years ago and the queue was intimidating even back then when there was a significantly smaller number of tourists.

I took my husband there and we tried Oni! Needless to say I could only eat half since it was so spicy. I gotta find an image of mine hahah

My favorite spicy miso ramen in Tokyo.
Is that Oni level sansho? I do find that even a sprinkling of sansho numbs my tongue to the point i can’t taste the beautifully made soup and the other stellar ingredients so I always choose no sansho heh.
