our first pumpkins ever (they are tiny 🥹)

This was our first season experimenting with gardening on our balcony. Started a bit by accident with some Hokkaido pumpkin seeds we had as leftovers.

We had 2 plants and 3 pumpkins but one pumpkin rotted very recently. The container was covered with a wire mesh to keep squirrels and birds away. We used a fertilizer once a month (as per the instructions on the packaging).

Thoughts for the next time: only one plant per container and try not to shock the plant during replanting. Any other suggestions are welcome.
