I have been looking to add a few bottles of Chateau Meyney to my cellar recently. Today, a supermarket near me had these on a buy 2 get 1 free offer. I paid 60€ for 3 (20€ a bottle). Very happy with this price for the 2018 vintage. I will be aging these for quite a while.

Yep that’s a bloody steal. Meyney has been on a banger streak the past decade. Overperforms like crazy! Cheers man!

Meyney punches really well, I have a case of 2016 I am just starting to see as accessible, it’s a lovely inky, complex wine with loads of age potential.

I just checked my en primeur invoices, I paid £244 in bond (so 307 after duty and tax), so I do believe you got a bona fide bargain.
