Hmm long shot maybe. Wrong cleaning chemical in the combi oven , opened it during cleaning cycle, stained the floor overnight when they noped the fuck out?

  2. furrthershots

Did the hoods get overnight cleaned?

  3. taste_bender

Could be a meat juice if you guys are leaving it in the oven over night maybe lol

Looks like the combi might be leaking

Could be a chemical reaction with the floors protective finish if its had enough time to sit. Maybe someone cleaned with chemicals and put it in the trash and it leaked or it is myoglobin and it was sat too long who knows but curry sauce at my place permanently stains the floor after like 2 hours when it comes off everything else.

You’re gonna have to strip seal and wax it

Obviously the dirty greasy water is coming from the ovens

Obviously it’s a fight club if no-one is taking about it.

Did you guys get your hoods cleaned last night? If so, they probably didn’t clean up and you got grease all over the floor.

I’ve seen the grease catches in the hoods overflow before, usually after a bad storm, but occasionally from starting a new place that never empties them. They can discolor the floor.

It also could be someone mixed chemicals on the floor snd caused a reaction.

  12. Throw some hydrogen peroxide on it and see if it bubbles/turns white….

Is a freezer or fridge at room temp? Or a staff member getting cold?

It looks like someone delivered a baby right there

If you don’t stop blaming night crew for everything I’ll quit and you can do it all your damn self

    I hope that isn’t Chris’s blood

Scrubbing it with the deck brush is pointless.

It looks like your floors are epoxied, correct? If yes, then it’s definitely not organic.

Epoxy can only get etched like this if exposed to a hydrochloric/phosphoric acid (both of which are either in a solvent based degreaser). If I was to guess it looks like someone either kicked or knocked that drain pan. I feel like I see some foot prints in the photo. The splatter pattern doesn’t look like a leaky seal to me

I would lightly wet sand the stain away as it most likely only surface level and didn’t penetrate down very far. Probably would take 5 minutes to wet sanding it with 800 grit.
