Been feeling bad since a Wednesday. So I made some Juk. Simple though. 5 cups water, 2 chicken bullion (Dad makes the stuff homemade. Little to no salt), chopped 4 carrots, 1 green Onion and 1/2 cup of rice. Boiled the water and bullion then added rice on low and slow until it simmer for an hour or so, mixing in the carrots and half green onions halfway and mixed. Topped with low sodium soy sauce and sesame oil then added more chopped carrots and the rest of the green onions and mixed. Not my best work since it boiled over a few times, but it's good and is comforting to eat with a sore throat.

    Such nice comfort food! Maybe stir in an egg toward the end of cooking to boost the flavor and protein. I hope you feel better.💐
