The new Italian spot announced on its Instagram page on Thursday, October 2, that it was ready to serve up some fresh handmade pasta and “an inviting glass of wine.”
But which pasta and wine combo to choose from?

According to an Instagram post, Abbiocco is “inspired by the vintage charm of Italy, the warmth of a family table, and the simplicity of Maine life.”
It has taken over the place previously occupied by Sissle & Daughters at 634 Forest Avenue.
Portland Food Map reported that the pasta restaurant and wine bar can seat about 27 people. Sounds like a cozy place to enjoy a fresh meal.
