[Music] Hey guys, welcome to Betty’s cooking channel. Today I’m going to make some homemade sloppy joe’s. These are sloppy joe’s like I used to have when I was in high school. I need very good ingredients. So, let me get started. Okay. I’m going to give you the recipe and also we’ll uh add it in the video. So, keep watching. Okay. Okay. I added some butter on each one of the buns. So now I’mma place it in this hot skillet and let it brown. Okay. [Music] Okay. This one is pretty hot. Okay. Try to take these out before they get too brown. That one is good. Okay. Okay, here’s the toasted bun there. I’m not going to make but two. Um, but it will make four um burgers. It will make four sloppy joe’s. So, let me just add the ground beef. This is one lb of ground beef. Okay, I’m not adding any oil. It should be enough oil here. Heat. Heat. [Music] Okay, there you have the green peppers. That’s a half a cup of green peppers. [Music] Ground beef is cooking pretty fast. This is a very hot skillet. add some of the other ingredients. I’m going to add um 8 oz of um tomato sauce, half a cup of ketchup, two tablespoons of brown sugar, two tablespoons of wishes sauce, 1 tbsp of mustard, one teaspoon of garlic powder, one teaspoon of onion powder, a half a teaspoon of ground pepper, four sliced pickles. They’re going to be added to the bone. Okay, so let’s get started. Here’s all of the ingredients I’m adding. Okay, I’m not going to add them yet cuz I’m going remove some of that oil out of the pan. I don’t want all that oil in there. Okay, I’m going let that cook some more. Okay, that like I said, it’s cooking pretty fast. [Music] Okay. Go ahead and take some of this oil out. I might have to use a lot of paper towels. Be careful if you do it this way. [Music] Excuse [Music] me. [Music] You can just pour this over a sie and uh drain the grease off, but I’m doing it this way. This is the way I’m doing it. You don’t have to do it this way if you would like to. Just a little more. Just walk all out of that pan. [Music] Smells delicious. I’m going to be making me some curry tofu today. If you’re watching me for the first time, I’m vegan and my husband is a meat eater. So, I prepare both on this channel. Okay, there we go. That’s perfect. Okay, this is ketchup. That’s a half a cup of ketchup. And let that uh cook a little bit. I’m add a little water to this cup so I can get all of the texture out of it. [Music] Okay, I’m going have some ketchup. I just added a little water to it. This is 8 oz of tomato sauce. [Music] We have to make this dish. It is a delicious um Swappy Joe recipe. I remember when I was in high school eating this. It was very good. Okay, I’m going add all of the other ingredients. I will go over the ingredients again with you. And like I said earlier, I will place the recipe in the video. Okay. smells yummy. Okay. Again, I’m going to read the uh recipe. Um, 2 tablebspoon of minced garlic, 1 lb of ground beef, 8 oz of tomato sauce, half a cup of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of wishes sauce, 1 tbsp of prepared mustard, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, half a teaspoon of ground black pepper, four um hamburger buns. It will serve four people. It will make four sandwiches. Sliced pickles if you like. Okay. And um you let it cook um I would say for about 10 or 15 minutes so that all of the seasoning will marry into this ground beef. Oh, it’s looking amazing. Look at that. It feels amazing. Okay, Bill’s going to be ready to eat in a little bit. It didn’t make take long to prepare this. What you want to do first is get all your ingredients together like I did the way I added them on that plate. And after you cook your ground beef and green peppers, um, you’re almost ready to go. [Music] This is the way it should be. It’s pretty thick. I’ll add it to the sandwich. Okay. That’s the bottom. That’s the top. That’s the bottom.
