A commission from one of the clients of my vegan catering service, who grew up eating this luncheon meat. Recreating nostalgic foods with a cruelty-free spin for people is always very rewarding for me, and I get paid to do it 😁

It looks like botched head cheese.

Do not look up how that is made. It literally involves the pigs head. And cartilage.

    Thanks.

I never want to eat cheese again.

I’m sure it tastes good, but the slices look like something you’d find in a Petri dish.

You’re telling me there is genuinely a product out there that is a log of compressed meat, cheese and pasta?

60% of the time I’d eat this every time.

  12. I love it! It has a 1960’s-1970’s aspic-era vibe to it. But looks so much better than most of those old recipes.

What are you using for the cheese blocks? What would happen if you heat this?

this is my first time hearing of such a thing and uh, wow I don’t know what to think, but great job pulling this off! It looks like it’s probably good but I’m also scared of it!

I think it is definitely unique, but you did a really great job with the execution. I’m sure your client is happy with it! Do you serve it in a sandwich with lettuce tomato vegan mayo etc?
