The newer style top vent has a rubber finger grip to open/close it. Mine came off, and E6000 didn’t work. Any ideas? Have you experienced the same? What did ya use, and did it work? Would the Rutledge stuff work?

One of mine came off, and I just used a dab of Permatexx high temp black RTV. It’s been fine since. That little finger sticking out probably doesn’t get over the 550 or 600° that rtv is rated for. And if it does, I’ll just stick another dab on there someday.
