Hi all – hope everyone is well! I'm hoping I might be able to get some suggestions from this community. I'm looking for a kind of specific set-up: I'm organizing a happy-hour type outing for members of a board on which I serve. There will probably be 10-12 people attending, and I think what we want is something like cocktails and small bites. The tricky part is, we're sort of in that weird "intermediate" size, where our group is too big to just show up someplace and expect to find a place to sit or stand, but since we're not planning on eating a full meal, reserving a table somewhere doesn't really make sense. I saw the option at the Lazy Bird at the Hoxton to rent their "red couch," which is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for, but unfortunately, they only open starting at 6 p.m., and we're looking to meet up a bit earlier than that. Does anyone have any suggestions? Ideally, I'm looking for something close to the Loop, just because folks are going to be traveling from lots of different directions (I personally am in Logan Square and can think of a few spots around my house, but don't want to make folks travel to me because I've already done that in the past).
