Olio e piu – am I missing something?

I picked up their carbonara to take home, and I was really underwhelmed. I didn’t get a whole lot of flavor, just richness, like too much. Super greasy, I used 4 full napkins to sop up all the grease, and there was still this much in the bowl. I couldn’t eat the whole thing, and I’m throwing out what’s left. I’ve had good carbonara in the village, but this wasn’t it. What gives with how popular this dish is, and this restaurant is?
