I would cautiously take a bite out of curiosity

blue cheese…cookies? awe hell naw we baking the mold now?

Is that Rosemary on top? If it’s a savory cookie, why the candy sprinkles?

  5. look all you have to do for presentation is skip the sprinkles next time. the artificial colors clash with the otherwise very nice earch tones. otherwise they look delicious, and i dont think the sprinkles would cause a flavor issue.

If you gave me a cookie and it had blue cheese in it I wouldn’t talk to you for a few days

Drop the sprinkles and would smash. Savory shortbread is good.

I’d try it but my expectations are low. How much do these taste like blue cheese? I don’t like blue cheese by itself but I’d try a cookie made with it if it’s not just straight blue cheese flavor.

I’d have to sub in gluten free flour but damn, these look INCREDIBLE. A perfect treat with charcuterie. And wine.

    They look and sound awful.

    How do they taste

Cookies – good cheese – good I can’t see the problem here

i am a slut for blue cheese, but this gave me pause. can you explain the flavor profile, op?

If you want to send some my way, I’d be happy to update this post upon tasting.

So you’re telling me that that is a baked good, not a cold, leftover hamburger with questionable toppings?

It’s a savory cookie, sign me up!

r/baking has no class or sophistication. /s

I don’t like blue cheese, but I applaud you for making something different!

I love sweet savories, and would love to eat this, I think…?

I’ve had corn and cheese ice cream, basil cream donuts, fig puree and mozzarella on a pizza

But savory/ cheese cookies, I have never

It’s the colored sugar on top. It makes it look like it’s going to be really sweet AND cheesy. It looks too much like sprinkles.

Cheese wafers with nuts and cheese straws are basically cheese cookies, and they’re a pretty common special occasion food in the US, especially the South.
