For the last few months a local resale shop was putting these out on their shelves. Total for all the machines was a little over $50. One needs a new tank and portafilter but still fairly happy with the purchases.

One for the home office, one for the garage, one for the bedroom, and one for the bathroom?

Bro you have no idea… I have brand new in box r58 and technika IV (older models so they probably couldn’t be bothered to look up old prices. As well as a few other machines that I got on a pallet of *unknowns for a pretty fair price *like 300ish a machine as/is sale*.

Like 12ish machines that mostly were old and vapor locked or missing a drip tray/ other accessory or at worse the group head inlet pipe was not tight. Only 2 or 3 have even the hint of coffee grounds kissing the group heads.

The only thing that sucked was most of the original boxes were pretty old and rough so I wouldn’t trust them to be shipped in… or picked up with weight.

Meanwhile all my local thrift stores try to sell old crusty Mr. Coffee “espresso” machines for $50 each.

Super jealous. I’m looking for a cheap Breville with a grinder and they’re always like $600+ where I’m at.

Why get all 4, though? Do you have so many people in your life in need of espresso machines?
