I know, I know – ANOTHER Napa cab on Last Bottle?

I realized it was Shafer after the joke about punctuation and the 40+ year winemaker tenure, then deduced the bottling from there.

In case any folks are interested, I remember the last mystery was a Chappellet and we snapped it up brutally quick! That did feel like a better deal though – I do see it at $80 on the web. This may be more worthwhile if buying multiples to keep.

Good deal, but with all the Napa cabs I have coming this fall/winter (thanks to LastBottle), I’m tapped out

Some great Cabs lately. Just got the Chappellet and it’s fantastic.

Thanks for the tip I had to pull the trigger

Missed the Chappellet, so picked up two of these. Feeling the budget though after the Panaches yesterday!

I’m starting a collection and new to wine. I’m struggling how to evaluate reputable wine brands vs ratings. For example, I ordered the Arrivé and Hampton Royce cabs from LB because they were $35ish and 95-96 ratings. But those aren’t famous Napa producers. Shafer is, but this is a 93-95 for twice the cost and a difficult vintage. Should I trust the brand name? Ratings? Vintage year? I dunno….

Also, there was another LB mystery bottle this morning that flew off quick; anyone know what it was?

Sold out as I was in check out. Looks like replaced with TD-9?

I nabbed 2 bottles of the one point five and 2 of the TD9.

I’ve enjoyed the relentless and hillside select bottles in the past, these should be solid as well.
