I was not expecting much from a meat lovers’ pizza in Vermont, but Ramunto’s in Rutland hit the spot as I ate it in my hotel room while drying off from a very wet ski day at r/Killington. The lightly salted crust was the most low-key perfect thing about it, never mind the great toppings.

    I’d give it a day in court…

Whenever I see a pizza place that slices their sausage, I want to try it

Looks good. What beer did you have with it? Nothing better than a full day on the slopes and renourishing one’s self.

I still think about my first restaurant pizza back in the mid 90s. Love is eternal

I still think about that pie as well, without even having a slice!

Those toppings look amazing. I’d add jalapeños but I know that’s not for everyone.

i was visiting Taipei, when my wife got sick, i went wondering around the city in the rain looking for dinner, found this pizza shop run by a guy making wood fire pizza. brought it back to my wife who hadnt eaten all day, she was so happy, it was amazing! she asked where i found it, i told her about the shop and how it was run by An Indian from england, making Italian pizza in Taiwan. i liked the cultural convergence. that was six years ago still think about that pizza

For me the best pizza I’ve ever had was in Venice Italy at a place called the Pizza Grotto. It was over 25 years ago and if you looked at the ceiling in the place you wouldn’t eat there.
It was late and we walked up because there’s no cars in Venice.
