A bit of an unusual post, as well as being in and of itself kind of absurd. Though, I thought it may spark some discussion around what constitutes a fry up!

Context: I was dieting earlier this year and madly craving a fry up, I decided to ‘cheat’ by making everything as healthy as possible – what you’re seeing is:

  • Sliced Tempeh Smoky ‘Bacon’
  • Homemade Plant Based Sausages
  • Cannellini Beans (w/ Homemade Tomato Sauce)
  • Scrambled Tofu w/ Spring Onion
  • Homemade Hash Browns
  • Fried Tomato
  • Rye Bread Toast
  • Yorkie Cuppa w/ Oat Milk

(Note: I’m not a fan of mushrooms or black pudding + toast is buttered on the inside!)

Is this heresy? have I created a monster and mutilated a sacred tradition? do I spit in the face of my ancestors?

OR

Would you throw caution to the wind and give it a go? Is it a spin you’d entertain? Is it a welcomed alternative?

Let me know in the comments!
