What do I do now? I received it like picture 1 but then found out it was actually separate pieces. Planned a 6-8 hour 225 cook. Stick them back together? Cook separately? Please help

You can’t put Humpty Dumpty together again.
Cook to tenderness. Expect the thinner one to be ready sooner. Seems like you have a fat cap on both sides so no need to worry about drying out.

Would’ve been a real funky looking brisket if the first photo was one. Cook each separately. Do you have a multi tiered rack?
