Super Burger, Pasadena, CA

This is, without a moment of hesitation, the best cheeseburger I’ve ever eaten in my life. I knew it was special as soon as I felt it in my hands. It’s the perfect burger, it cannot be done better.

  1. It’s funny how good you say it is, it’s presentation doesn’t make it look like anything special

Have you had an authentic NM Green Chile Cheeseburger….if not, then you haven’t had the best yet.

I don’t know about transcending but I haven’t tasted it.

I wonder if the super burger in Bakersfield is the same chain
I’d drive 2 hours for a good burger but I’d rather drive 20 minutes

Nice to see one of our local mom n pops getting some much deserved love here! It may not be the most photogenic/instagrammable, but this place definitely hits.

It looks like a solid burger but nothing special.

This place is good, super duper burgers in the Bay Area are also good.

Damn. Is OP going to start measuring time as before and after Super Burger?

  10. That’s how I felt and still feel about Nite Owl in Milwaukee Wisconsin

Do you like these small fast-food types of buns? Could the burger be tastier with a proper bun?

  12. Super Burger is great. I also recommend the Topps Special from Topps. It’s a burger with thin sliced pastrami on it. It’s heaven on earth

Yeah? Well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.

Love a good “best burger ever” story. What made it so special?

How long will you be around LA County?  Are there any other burgers you’re aiming to get?  If you’re still in Pasadena, please make sure to try B-Man’s for their ABC Burger (it’s a teriyaki burger and it is excellent).

The best burger I’ve ever had in my life was from an independent gas station 70 miles outside San Antonio in the middle of absolutely nowhere. No town or anything. They bought their beef from a nearby ranch, it was INCREDIBLE.

Nothing better than a good ol SoCal burger shack
