The only good thing about fall and winter not starting yet is that I get loads of peppers for another month or two. But does anyone know what this is, is it cooler temperatures or did something infect/infest it?

A bit fucky but that is certainly a genetic Jalapeño. Water starved but probably delicious.

Looks like stinkbug damage, or other bug type that sucks the juicy juices out of peppers.

  3. The light splotches are from stink bugs injecting a chemical into them that pre-digests it for feeding. It’s ultimately harmless but damages the pepper, however that one appears to have been sucked pretty dry. You can cut it to check the extent of the damage, but I would start treating the remaining undamaged peppers/plant with a natural deterrent.
