I think ultimately there’s just people that enjoy the feeling of like, them being a part of something, for whatever reason, whether it’s that they are a bit lonely or bored or whatever. You get a little dopamine hit of feeling like you’re recognized and it’s kind of like a club, “you wouldn’t get it” thing.
