Incredibly quick cook at 225. Pulled at 125 and seared.
Maybe a hair more done than I’d like, but still came out so juicy!
My wife and I agreed that the Wojapi seasoning made for the better flavor.
Cooked some green beans and smoke some corn while I was at it.
I think I cut the second one the wrong direction 😅

What cut of meat is that?
Looks amazing. Tri tip is one of my favorites
Looks great! I agree, might be a tad over. I like to pull at 120, rest for 10 minutes, then sear. But it still looks very tasty!
Nicely done!
Looks good. I prefer the turn and burn method with tri tip since I live in Cali. Flip and rotate every 5 minutes for 30 minutes and its medium rare every time
Looks good and tri-tip is my second next to ribeyes or rib steaks and the thicker cuts are certainly the most forgiving and more flavorful and I stocked up on several packages of these a few weeks ago when they were on sale and will be our go to for the next six weeks.
Edit.. They are also awesome on kebabs.

For some reason, I can’t find tri-tip any around me recently
I smoked my first last week. Wife loved it, wants me to make it all the time
Was a little under $30 for 2.5 lbs (roughly)
