📝 Ingredients You’ll Need:
For Main Dish Ruz w Bazaella:
• 2 cups basmati rice (soaked 30 mins, drained)
• 400 g beef or lamb or chicken (minced)
• 1 medium onion (finely chopped)
• 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen)
• 1 cup carrots (diced small)
• 3 tbsp Olive oil or ghee
• 3 cups chicken stock (or water)
• 1 ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
• Ginger Powder 1 tsp
• Garlic powder 1 tsp
• 1 tbsp 7-spice (sabaa baharat) or (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, cumin, coriander, cardamom- optional)
• 1 tsp allspice
• ½ tsp black pepper
• 1 cinnamon stick (optional, for aroma)
• 2 tbsp pine nuts or almonds (toasted, for garnish- optional)
For Side Dish (Khyar bi Laban):
• Thick Yogurt 1 cup
• Cucumber 1 medium
• Garlic 1 clove crushed
• Black Pepper
• Salt
• Sumac
• Olive Oil
• Lemon Juice
• Mint Leaves
For Greek Salad:
• Tomato
• Onion
• Lettuce
• Cucumber
• Feta cheese
• Olive oil
• Salt
• Black pepper
• Sumac
• Lemon juice
• Parsley
