While harvesting some garlic I found this in the stem. Looks like small bulbs?

They are Bulblets or Bulbils, they are genetically identical so you can use them to replant but they usually have a longer life cycle (3 years ~)

Plant them…and they will produce next year.

Your garlic was pregnant! Congratulations on your healthy twins mama!!!

Haha I agree with others, they’re lookin’ like bulbils which, when planted, will take longer to grow into a full head than planting cloves.

Ya the tiny ones take too long for me. I’ll just plant a clove for the one-year plan.

  5. Those are seeds! Mine formed them this year for the first time. I’ve been told they grow really well. Just plant them as you normally would for garlic.

The answer to more garlic is always yes.
