Apparently, we are living in a fascist regime because eggs were too expensive. So, I’m going to try and make the best chocolate chip cookies ever without using those very expensive eggs. That’s how we resist authoritarianism here. Yay! Brown sugar, white sugar, cold butter. We’re going to use this baby. We’re going to grate our butter into our sugar like all the existential dread that fascism inevitably produces. Cream the butter. Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, flour, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, a little salt, chocolate chips. Okay, this is going to be the most annoying part of this recipe. You’re going to have to freeze it. Why do you have to freeze them? Because you want the butter to get really cold. I’m going to stick this in the freezer overnight, but if you can’t wait 4 hours. It’s now tomorrow. Ice left in my shirt and my makeup. This big. That’s That’s what we want. We’re going to stick these in the oven at 410° F. 10 minutes. [Music] Honestly, if this is what anti-fascism looks like, I don’t hate it. Feel like God. These are too

  1. (***************This video I think can very offensive to people who actually experience what it was like being under a dictatorships like Germany WW2 etc. This word choice I think is very irresponsible for someone who influence people to a great extent so please next time think about the true meaning of what you’re truly saying. ***************)

  2. Why are you care about egg prices going up when you a literally a VEGAN. &&&**&* So egg prices going up more people thinking about becoming a VEGAN so this should be better for you and your other VEGAN friends😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅

  3. I as an Italian who has family members who lived through fascism and the Second World War can confirm by their stories that buying anything was too expensive, so you’d have to buy living chickens or basic livestock instead.

  4. funny how we went to war against some fascist regimes 70-80 years ago, only to become one ourselves.
really is a "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain" kind of scenario lmao

  5. As someone that lives in an authoritarian regime in a different country… How bad would the cookies turn out if I don't add Greek yogurt? 😅 Not looking for alternatives just no yogurt is it ok? I wanna make these and that's the expensive bit over here

  6. I’d like to try this. It looks sooo good!! I like egg free cake and cookies, as there’s no raw egg smell or taste. I can’t wait to try this recipe!

  7. I'm Korean, deathly allergic to eggs[and honey??], and I love finding different ways to make classics that I can enjoy without dying
I'm so glad this channel graced me today, I feel like I got the best of 3 worlds, keep fighting/speaking up/cooking and I will too <333

  8. Genuinely curious, but what does grating the butter do for the cookies? I've heard of browning butter but not grating it before creaming it 😂

  9. I love this recipe and I can't wait to try it! Is there a corn starch alternative that won't make them taste… Weird?
    Babes got allergies

  10. Ahh yes, Eggsistential dread bc of the rise of fascism and eggspensive eggs…

… sorry for the awful puns but I cope with humor 😅

  11. “Living in a fascist regime.”

    “I am baking cookies.” 🍪

So, apparently, living in a fascist regime is the hip and trendy thing to do 😎 and fascism is awesome 🤩

  12. Finally a recipe which I won't explode into hives ( I have an egg allergy) nor feel the dreadful pit in my wallet every time I see the prices. A WIN WIN

  13. But joe bidens been kicked out there’s no more facism & authoritarianism anymore – remember how he directed poison vaccines on us and didn’t allow us to work if we didn’t take them
Now that’s authoritarian more important than eggs
