I use this for my water bath canning. And I cannot find a large enough replacement anywhere! It doesn’t seem to affect the process. And I was wondering if I could use something like rust oleum to seal the metal. I would love everyone’s thoughts.

It’s on the outside of the jars / won’t touch your food, so it’s technically fine. Some of us have *really* hard water and that’s probably just as bad anyways, haha!
It has separators for the jars. We purchased a new canner and our rack doesn’t have the separators. The jars can click together on the new one if you are not careful. We got rid of our old one due to the canner pot bottom rusted. I would keep yours.
