SAGINAW, MI — Michigan Cream and Sugar Ice Cream Company staff announced it now offers shipping services for its artisan ice cream products, expanding delivery options from local routes to nationwide coverage across the continental United States.
Staff with the Saginaw-based company made the announcement Tuesday, Oct. 14, highlighting the new service as ideal for family, office, or client gifts.
All orders can be placed through the company’s recently updated website at michigancreamsugar.com.
Customers within a 22-mile radius of the Saginaw location at 122 S. Hamilton can receive local delivery at reduced shipping costs. The local delivery service charges $80 for six pints with dry ice and holiday branding, plus a $25 delivery fee per address. Deliveries occur on Wednesdays and Fridays.
For customers across the continental United States, the company ships orders every Monday with guaranteed arrival by 5 p.m. Tuesday, staff members said. Items are shipped in branded cartons with 10 pounds of locally produced dry ice to maintain frozen temperatures. The nationwide service costs $80 for six pints, dry ice, and branding, with shipping costs quoted based on the delivery address.
Michigan Cream and Sugar Ice Cream Company operates two scoop shop locations.
The original Bay City shop opened in 2019 at 160 Uptown Dr., while the company welcomed a new scoop shop and production facility in Saginaw this year.
Both locations maintain fall hours Tuesday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. The shops are closed Mondays.
The company produces hand-crafted ice cream using locally sourced Michigan ingredients in small batches. The business operates under Horizons Conference Center with support from Michigan Sugar Company, focusing on connecting farms and families through its products that center on Michigan’s agricultural diversity.
