I bought this tin a while ago and have been afraid to try it because it was expensive and I didn't want to "waste" it, so been waiting for the right moment. I (relatively, debatably as you can see) successfully baked a loaf of bread for the first time yesterday and realized it was the perfect opportunity to crack this open and just enjoy them with some plain old bread. It was perfect. By far the best tin I've ever had, which is unfortunate since I can't afford to buy it often. I just heated them up on medium low heat in a pan until the butter was melted and the sardines lightly browned. Highly recommend! I did get another slice to soak up the remaining butter left in the pan after I ate this, I will admit

The sardine in butter struggle is real. They are so good and never cheap.
