1/4 lb of brisket, 2 ribs, cheddar jalapeno sausage, and beans. Tip included for $25.16.

Great spot with solid food. The beans were a highlight. Smoky and full of flavor. Ribs had a lot of texture and the brisket was juicy, but could have had more smoke. The sausage was great, very spicy but not overwhelming.

All in all, out of the 3 NC BBQ places I've tried so far, this is the best, and yes I acknowledge it's not NC style.

$25 just seems wild. I guess that’s the price of everything these days.

What is artisan BBQ? does it mean it’s more expensive than regular BBQ? sounds BOUGIE.

It’s not NC style which is why it’s the best 🤣

Looks good to me, but the beans being the highlight might say a lot

Never imagined I’d see a Jamestown restaurant on Reddit. Agreed that Black Powder is one of the better BBQ places in the area.

I saw in another comment that you liked Clark’s, I’ll have to give that another try, I didn’t care for it when I went but it was years ago.

I’ve yet to make it here, but I have an old friend who has worked here for a while.
