I am a new baker. This is a simple loaf I made today. I am sure it is nothing special to a lot of you amazing bakers, but this is the best one I’ve ever made.

You’re going to cherish this photo when you end up looking back at all your bakes in like 5 years. I’m sad r/breadit doesn’t allow photos in comments, I’ve been dying to do a “First bake, most recent bake” post. It’s crazy to see how far people have come from when they started, mine didn’t look nearly as good as yours. Keep on it!!!

I love how you weren’t afraid to really get a good browning on it! Most newbies pull it too early and the crust is like all blonde and sad. Amazing work!

I love it

Homemade bread is wonderful and we all have to start somewhere! I have baked for years and can nail flavor texture etc.
