Authentic Afghan Naan Recipe | How to Make Soft Afghan Bread at Home

Ingredients
3&1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoon active dry yeast
1 cup warm water
2 tablespoon oil or ghee
2 tablespoon Yogurt
Sesame seeds or nigella seeds for topping

Instructions
1. Mix Water sugar,salt, oil , yoghurt and yeast.
2. Add flour.
3. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
4. Let dough rise for 1 hour.
5. Divide into 4-6 portions.
6. Roll each portion into an oval shape.
7. Preheat oven at 225C for 10 minutes, Bake at 225°C for 12-15 minutes until golden, do not over cook.
8. Alternatively you can Cook in a hot skillet or tandoor .
9. Cook for 1-2 minutes per side until puffed and golden.
10. Brush with ghee or butter (optional).

Serving
– Serve with kebabs, curries like Chicken Shinwari Karahi.
