Day one of this journey into proper coffee…
Just need to add beans!

A little nervous that I’m going to waste a tonne of beans in trying to figure it all out, but I’m sure it will be fun.

Welcome to the journey my friend, clean setup by the way!

Curious, what got you into espresso? I’m Always interested inhearing what made people take the plunge into home setups lol

I just ordered a Bambino plus and grinder! I’m in the same boat but so excited. Looks good imo, what grinder is that?

Go to a local cafe that ideally roasts their own beans and if you like their espresso (and it’s not labeled as a light roast) just buy that.

I hope you’ve taken the plastic insert out of the PF 🙂

That’s how I started! In a week or so you’re going to be very happy… (Well I started with a K6 grinder, but I have the 64 Gen 2 now so…)

I have the exact same setup! Bought it two years ago. Already eyeing stage 2……👀

  7. If you’re in the UK, you can get a kg of Con Vivo beans from Wogan coffee for £11.50 and they’re pretty good for helping you get used to your new setup.

Chat GPT prompt: I’m beginning to dial-in my [bean name] for my [grinder name] to use in my [espresso machine name]. Can you search for previous users that have dialed the bean in successfully using my same equipment setup? If not, give me an ideal starting range for grinding.

    We love our bambino plus

And I bought a $40 burr grinder from Walmart that works great 😊
