Homemade cherry liqueur (or is it liquor?) ice cream

liquor is just any spirit, that being a distilled product from a fermented alcoholic drink. liqueur is a spirit that’s infused with flavours from fruit, herbs, flowers, etc. had it right the first time. looks good 👍

How do you manage the proportions of adding liqueur to ice cream and getting it to freeze hard enough? Every time I’ve tried to liqueur up my ice-cream it just liquefied and refused to freeze solid.
