  2. MeatSlammur

I’m pretty sure you could barely taste the egg

  3. sonerec725

honestly well executed but just make scotch eggs at this point.

Y’all ever seen My Cousin Vinny? The lard scene

  5. StarryShapes

If the egg was runny inside that would be killer

  6. rhinotomus

This would slap on a breakfast sandwich if the yolk was still runny

  7. If I was drunk I would definitely eat that then regret it the day after

    Thanks, Tom Anderson.

Looks like something you would see at any state fair, No, not stupid.

I mean for as fiddly as it looks to actually cook at least it also actually looks quite decent, like for example if I had this in a burger I would be pretty happy

You mean to tell me a chicken fried this egg?

  12. Creepy-Awareness-264

Ummm this doesn’t look bad at all.

  13. MizzelSc2

At first I thought this was boiled eggs. But, after watching the whole video I guess I’d try this at least once.

Way to turn something ordinarily really good for you into a heart attack.

    I want one immediately.

  15. BrainMatter23

Could I just order the heart attack and NOT bother cooking the egg?

  16. Scrambled and with crushed cornflakes not bread crumbs 🤌🏻

this is known as a poor man’s chicken sandwich. fried batter tastes good with most things and the egg is just a vessel for the crunchy batter. put it in a bun with fry sauce and a pickle and you’re set

Until the breading happened, my thought was – oh, a Thai fried egg – same concept as a Thai omelette, except the oil wasn’t hot enough.

The breading looked delicious, but at that point you might as well make a scotch egg, but you can do it chicken fried style, because what is better than a chicken fried egg? A chicken fried, sausage wrapped egg!

Then, wrap the whole thing in bacon, just for good measure.

    This actually looks kinda appetizing

I have actually eaten that before and I can tell you that it’s really good though not an everyday thing that people should eat

  21. Next_Bad_8563

Won’t lie it’s looks like alot of extra work for cooking a egg. But I would try this one day if im bored. Looks good

  22. Banana_Phone888

Idk id totally give it a shot if someone made it for me

  23. MispronouncedPotato

Yeah I’d try something like this but I’d make a chicken-fried turkey sausage or hot Italian sausage patty with a sunny side up egg some hot sauce or Sriracha mayo on a biscuit or a Hawaiian roll

  24. Mad-Habits

i don’t think it passes the threshold of stupid. It’s really unhealthy, but there’s a logical process and it produces a result that probably tastes good

  25. ScottieSpliffin

I could see this being some local specialty in a region

  26. kindadid

I’d put this in a sandwich as a substitute for beef or chicken, to make it vegetarian, if it weren’t fried in lard. I’m not vegetarian per se but sometimes I like eating vegetarian. But yeah, id eat this, and I am a bit embarrassed by that.

  27. I would definitely eat it every now and then.

  28. wanderrslut

If you put that on my plate with some bacon and an iced coffee, I’d be good to go (including to the bathroom).

  29. derppherppp

I must be hungry cause that looks so good

I think the only stupid part of this was triple battering it. You could churn out a bunch of these pretty quick if you stuck to one time,  and I don’t think the extra batterings adds that much to the egg. Otherwise, it’s just an interesting way to make an egg. I’d try to perfect it to make the yolk still runny.
