Jimmy John’s has incredible bread and chips. Everything else is weak. This is coming from a fan. The smart play is to buy bread from there and make your own sandwiches. Meanwhile, Ive had Jersey Mike’s built up like crazy to me for years but every time I go it’s also weak. its been awhile though. I’d be willing to try it again.

To be fair, you are comparing an end to a cross section.
Even with that, JJ has become an awful value. When it was $3.25 for an 8” compared to Subway $5 footlong, it was a clear choice. Paying $8.75 for an Italian? No way.

Jimmy johns was good for the price and that fact they were pretty fast at deliveries when they first hit the scene. But after all the hype and price hikes… its not even worth it.

I always liked Jimmy John’s. We never had a Jersey Mike’s in my town until a few years ago. I was a hater at first I don’t think the store was very good.
I now realize Jersey Mike’s is far superior. I do like that Jimmy John’s bread sometimes with a simple sandwich.
