This rubber piece fell out of my Nespresso machine and was in my mug. Does anyone know what it is and where it should go? I have a Nespresso Vertuo round head machine. Thanks!

Kinda hard to tell by the pic but are you sure that’s rubber and not like built-up gunk?😭

I was just in aquarium subreddits so, at first glance, I assumed this was a pest snail lol

I have the same machine and I have no idea what that is. Is it that color because it’s covered in coffee? Maybe give it a wash and see if that helps. Hard to tell from the pic since it’s so small.

You ever cleaned a bong and pulled out a gunk ring? I think this is the Nespresso equivalent

It’s likely built up gunk. Try to see if it dissolves in water.

Sorry guys, these pics do look blurry uploaded. It’s definitely a piece of plastic from somewhere. I’m hoping it’s not some kind of seal.

Looks like it could be from the spout/nozzle . check to see of it looks like sth is missing .

Run a rinse cycle and see if it works and if any other debris comes out. Is this used daily because I cleaned the spout with a white brush and there was a lot of brown stuff on it.

Put it in a glass of hurt water and tell us if it “melts”.

It’s not plastic, it’s concentrated dried coffee.

I have a roundhead and checked mine and it looks like the centre piece of the puncture unit in the machine. I took a pic but just realized this sub doesn’t allow pics attached in replies
