Foodies, it’s that time of the week again. When we dive into the Greater New Bedford food scene. Are you ready to taste test a new dish or discover your new favorite restaurant?
The SouthCoast is flooded with great spots to indulge in each week, but it can get a little overwhelming, especially when you are “hangry.”
New Bedford Eatshelps you narrow down the list of places to try by bringing you new menu items, food events, and specials popping up all over the area.
This week, indulge in the savory tastes of fall, take advantage of a seafood special, or treat yourself to a delicious Italian deal.
Let’s dig into the SouthCoast food scene:
Fall vibes have hit the menu
New flavors are rolling out at Brew Fish Bar and Eatery. Some delicious additions to their menu include the Scallop and Butternut Squash Ravioli, featuring local scallops, butternut squash ravioli, cashew cream sauce, and a cranberry and apple compote. Another new dish is the Portuguese Mussels, made with Prince Edward Island mussels, chouriço crumbles, caramelized onions and peppers, and a tomato wine broth served with a side of grilled naan bread. If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, try the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich with smoked in-house pulled pork, coleslaw, onion straws, and BBQ sauce, all served on a buttered Brioche roll. Check out the full menu at 210 Spring St., Marion.
Get a double dose of Italian dishes
At Village Pizza and Ice Cream, they have mouthwatering daily specials. For just $35, you can choose two Italian dinners from options like chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, chicken and broccoli Alfredo, or pasta and meatballs. Additionally, you’ll get a refreshing Greek salad and your choice of two sundaes or a bottle of wine. Check out what else they have to offer at 760 Main Road, Westport.
Wednesdays are for seafood
It will be an impossible choice at Bayside Lounge. Every Wednesday, you can either get a delicious lobster roll with fries and coleslaw or a mouthwatering clam boil with melted butter for only $16.
