My favorite Korean soup. Stumbled on a seollangtang restaurant years ago when visiting Seoul. Didn’t know how to read the menu back then, especially when this restaurant only had a menu with writing. Pointed at something which turned out to be seollantang. I’ve been hooked ever since. I have my favorite places in LA, and can make my own version at home now too.

존나 맛있지 난 집에서 끓여 먹으면 왜 맛이 깊지 않은지 몰랐는데 찾아보니 가계에선 더 다양한 부위와 계속 오래 끓이고 조미료를 넣기 때문이 아닐까 생각이 들어 아무튼 맛있게 먹어!

That looks so comforting, seolleongtang always hits the spot especially on cold days. The broth looks so milky and rich, I can almost taste it through the screen
