If Frasier Crane were still living in Seattle, we’re pretty sure he’d emphasize the “kwa” in croissants to an obnoxious level. And why not? Our city has them in abundance, and you can find decent beret-clad representatives at Seattle’s many coffee shops. But to find truly stellar ones takes a little more work. After getting up at the break of dawn, hunting down obscure tips, and consuming approximately 15 sticks of butter for a big taste test, we’ve narrowed down the list to these 11 spots, based primarily on plain croissants (with shout-outs to a couple of exceptional flavored versions). Consider this your Frasier-approved checklist.
