800g Flour

2 Packs of Dry Yeast

500ml lukewarm water

2 teaspoons of salt

1 pack of vanilla sugar

6 tablespoons sonflowerseed oil

20g of liquid food coloring per color

Make a dough from the yeast, water, salt and vanilla sugar and knead it until it gets really elastic.

Then add the pil and knead on until its the consistency of wet chewing gum

Split in 4 parts and put in one color of food coloring in each, knead a LOT until it gets even.

Rest for 1,5 hours @ room temp

Make roll a 8-10mm thick sheet (30x40cm) from each color and stack.

Cut 8 long stripes without smashing it too much

Twist the stripes, bend into a ring and connect carefully

let rest for 20 minutes

Cook water in a flat pan and cook each bagel in it for 30 seconds

Put on a baking tray on baking paper and bake @ 170° for 20 Minutes

Doesn’t look appetising to me, but I bet Rufio would love it! 🙂

As someone who just made her first bagels ever this weekend, these look great!! I love rainbow bagels. Only had them in NYC once.

    I just love all bagels.

Is it edible? Those colors don’t look anything like food.
