Isn’t that just a McGriddle, but cheesier and tastier looking?

So different from the US because, in Japan, the food actually looks like the picture.

If you’re from the US, you’ll find that McDonalds is better pretty much everywhere. Food regulations in the States is far looser then in places like Japan and the EU. As a result, quality is up. They are better jobs in most other countries too.
I remember being in Japan in the early 2000s, around the time of the mad cow outbreak. Japanese restaurants proudly put up banners that said they never bought US beef, so there was nothing to be concerned about.

*gag* That cheese can go right into the garbage. Otherwise, it seems much more…real looking. Yikes, that sad too.

If I was up early, I’d hit up Mac for breakfast (in part because I never figured out Japanese breakfast – so feel free to educate me on better options for my next trip).

My picture showing a MOS burger was removed , but this McDonalds is allowed as Japanese food? Poor moderation in this sub.

It’s been so long since I was back in Japan, but god, I miss teriyaki burgers every day.

Yes it does 😁

Every single thing in Japan ‘slaps.’ Because it’s all treated equally. Top to bottom, pride and respect in the work / food. Fast food, 7/11, it’s all gourmet compared to the US.
Machumatsu
Nah, them stopping the basic McMuffin makes breakfast a no from me lately
robin_f_reba
Why? What differences have you noticed?

Ugh I dream about the McGriddles I used to eat when I lived in Japan. They don’t have them on the menu in my country and I know they wouldn’t be as good anyway!

Waiting for that negative Nancy to come and comment that this isint traditional Japanese food

Yep, I was absolutely shocked how good McDonald’s was in Japan. I only get the breakfast stuff usually, but it was so good compared to what we get at home (Australia).
