Excellent Prié Blanc from Pavese in the Vallée D'aoste. Haven't had this grape before but it's grown a few thousand feet up in the alps on ungrafted vines. Has the crispness of Chablis, but more salinity, even pepper and petrol. Great intensity and finish.

Fantastic wine
This wine is a winner year in and year out. I’ve only had this cuvée from the producer, but all their label art is delightful. A Neal Rosenthal import. Given the acidity I’d be curious to try one of these with a few years of age, but I can never hold onto them for more than a few months without opening for friends.

Wow. I would love to try it again. When I had it, I don’t think I understood it. The acid was screaming.
