MARYLAND (WBFF) — Sabrina Carpenter, hosting NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” joined in a skit that parodied Harford County-based podcast group “MdFoodieBoyz” by playing on the Gen Z commentary the podcast is known for by its fans.

The MdFoodieBoyz are a group of four teenage boys, ranging from 13 to 14 years old, including: Jackson, known as Nonchalant Kid; Ryan, known as Chub Perm; Payton, known as McLovin; and Emmett, known as No Name.

In late 2024, the podcast gained traction on social media over their comments on topics like school lunch food, chicken sandwiches, candy, frozen pizza and more. The four teenagers agree on food items they like, calling them “valid,” and routinely announce their inexperience in trying many foods like deli meat, meat lovers pizza and more.

The podcast currently has more than 111,000 followers on TikTok and more than 2.2 million likes.
