Easy, healthy appetizer starts here with our crescent dough. Place pieces of it inside your larger muffin tin and be sure to pre grease it. Next, I’m adding some feta cheese, roasted red peppers, black olives, and blue cheese. But feel free to mix any of these ingredients out for your own favorites. I love this easy Mediterranean appetizer because it’s just so flavorful. Then I’m seasoning it up with some Italian herb, rosemary, and thyme. Once you have them all seasoned up to your liking, fold up the crescent rolls and then add either an egg wash or I’m using a melted butter and garlic wash. Set your oven at 350°. They bake for just a quick 8 to 10 minutes or so, so be sure to keep an eye on them. Once your yummy appetizer pockets are golden, feel free to remove them from the oven and let them cool. I love to serve this on a bed of arugula salad. Perhaps you add some fruit. I like to use black raspberries with this and maybe a balsamic glaze and parmesan cheese. Let me know what you guys love about this recipe and what you would change with this recipe. I hope you enjoy this scrumptious appetizer recipe idea.
